I love the idea of the ACS WCM Core components. A quality set of base components for us to base our work on and especially featuring the latest tools and techniques? Awesomesauce! Clearly, I'm not the only one too! Here's a neat trick I picked up from the WCM Core Components, they make it really easy to provide a placeholder for when your component has not been configured or cannot display properly. This is required, especially in Touch UI as many components will not take up any space when first dropped on the page and without a placeholder are pretty much impossible to author. To get around this, we just simply add some placeholder text to display and allow the author to click on.
